SofaBean Photography is for people who want photos that go beyond the traditional studio photograph. I aim to create images that are relaxed, spontaneous and bring out the subjects' true personality.

My name is Shannon, but my friends call me Shan. I wear my flip flops until it snows and feel most comfy in jeans and a t-shirt, so don't be surprised if I show up to your session wearing just that.

I am married to my best friend, Matthew. We met in 1999 and now, almost 10 years later, have 6 wonderful kids. I won't lie and say the past years of building a family have been the easiest, but I will say that I am truly blessed and wouldn't trade my crazy little life for anything in the world.

It is my desire that every picture taken by SofaBean Photography captures a special moment in a person's life and allows them to hold on to it forever. I also aim to capture the best of each individual personality with the least amount of stress. I strive to provide photos that are as full of emotion and love as the people captured in them.

When you view my gallery, you will notice that I provide a variety of finishing styles to suit your personalities. These styles range from grungy to elegant; sharp and vibrant to soft and subtle.
